Warranty & returns
Thanks for loving our electric jet boards as much as we do. However, if for some reason you have fallen out of love with your jet board or accessories we are all ears and here to help.
Should your jet board not be what you were expecting you have 30 days to return your purchase from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return your purchase must be unused and in the same condition that you received it with all original packaging. We will also need to see a receipt or proof of purchase. All refunds minus any shipping / restocking fee will be processed after an evaluation process.
Email us if you are looking to return your jet board. We are not able to accept returns on any jet boards once they have been ridden or taken in the water.
Once we receive your board, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your payment card (or original method of payment / bank account). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
All sales are final.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. All shipping costs are nonrefundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Asap water crafts hand builds most jet boards to order in their UK factory. When ordering your jet board you will be asked to pay a deposit to confirm your order, typically 50% of the total order cost. Once this deposit has been received your order will be scheduled into our production, and you will be given an estimated delivery date.
After paying the deposit amount, should you change your mind and wish to cancel your order before your jet board is shipped, your deposit amount will be refunded to you minus a restocking / admin fee of £120 (€140 Euros).
This agreement outlines the Limited Warranty coverage supplied by Asap water crafts to the user, which is defined as an individual who has purchased the jet board from Asap water crafts, or from an authorised sales representative / retailer. Purchasing any jet board from an unauthorised reseller, including any online purchase other than directly from Asap water crafts, or their authorised resellers, will void all product warranties to the extent permitted by law.
Asap water crafts warrants that their jet boards, other than handles, impeller and battery pack, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months. The warranty for the handles, impeller and battery pack is 6 months.
We recommend that the user first utilises support materials shipped with their jet board, these can also be downloaded from the support section of our website. If the issue cannot be resolved using our support materials we recommend contacting us directly via email.
If your jet board proves defective and a claim is filed during the warranty period, Asap water crafts will either;
1. Repair your jet board by means of telephone, video call, email support or by providing service at no charge for parts or labour.
2. Replace your jet board with a comparable jet board which may be new or refurbished.
3. Refund the original amount paid for the jet board, less a reasonable allowance for usage upon it's return.
If unsuccessful in obtaining service under this warranty through our authorised resellers, the user must notify Asap water crafts.
Asap water crafts provides paid repairs for jet boards that are out of warranty.
All sales are final.
If you wish to discard this product please contact your local authorities or reseller and ask for the correct method of disposal.
The following are not covered by the warranty;
Damage caused by modification or use outside those specified in the user manual.
The serial number of the product has been altered or removed.
The warranty registration or proof of purchase is inconsistent with the product itself.
The product has been dismantled or repaired by an unauthorised third party.
Water damage is not covered under warranty if the product seals have been broken or tampered with by an unauthorised third party.
Damage or fault has been caused by other issues (excluding product design, manufacture, quality, etc.)
Natural wear and tear that does not affect product function (including scratches and indentations in the moulded body).
Damage has been caused by accidents or human errors.
Damage has been caused by over loading the jet board.
Damage has been caused by acts-of-god such as fire, flood, earthquake, freezing etc.
Products purchased from an unauthorised reseller, including any online or second hand purchase other than directly from Asap water crafts or their authorised resellers to the extent permitted by law.
Damage due to rental or commercial use of your jet board.
All implied warranties (including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) are limited in duration to the above 12 month / 6 month warranty period. Asap water crafts further disclaims all express warranties.
Returns under warranty
If after referring to our support materials and contacting us via email, it is decided that your jet board needs to return to our factory for repair, Asap water crafts will organise collection of your jet board. You will need to package your jet board in it's original packaging or similar substitute packaging to protect the board.
Once your jet board has arrived at our factory it will be inspected. Providing the faults are within warranty, we will repair your jet board and return ship it back to you at no cost to you. If the fault is found to be due to misuse/damage of the board, or falls outside of warranty, all shipping (to Asap water crafts and return shipping) and repair costs will need to be paid for by you. We will confirm the costs of labour, parts and shipping to you before starting any work.
All misuse can be avoided by following the instructions supplied with your board.
